Course Introduction

This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of HSSE management system. It covers the basic concepts of HSSE practices, standards and regulations; the HSSE management system; the HSSE tools and systems used within the organization; using and operating the functionalities of HSSE tools and systems available; the safety responsibilities; identifying and correcting hazards; legal compliance related to HSSE practices; the risk-based approach; and the commitment to developing people.   During this interactive course, participants will learn the process safety and integrity management; the enforcement and reinforcement of procedures; ensuring safety accountability; creating a culture of consequences; and the B.O.S.S (Benchmarking Organizational Safety Strategy.

Training Methodology

A highly interactive combination of lectures and discussion sessions will be managed to maximize the amount and quality of information and knowledge transfer. The sessions will start by raising the most relevant questions, and motivate everybody find the right answers. You will also be encouraged to raise your own questions and to share in the development of the right answers using your own analysis and experiences.  Tests of multiple-choice type will be made available on daily basis to examine the effectiveness of delivering the course.
